Exhibition on the Birth of the Republic to Reopen at Montecitorio

The exhibition “1946: The Republic Is Born. The Constituent Assembly at Montecitorio” will reopen to the public on September 7 in the Sala della Lupa at the Chamber of Deputies.

What is happening

The exhibition was inaugurated on May 6 by Chamber President Lorenzo Fontana and Secretary General Fabrizio Castaldi. President Sergio Mattarella visited it on June 25 during a ceremony marking 80 years since the first sitting of the Constituent Assembly. Since opening to the public on May 7, several thousand people, including young people and students, have visited. Reservations are available online.
