During the sitting on Friday, October 2, lawmakers raised questions concerning single ZES authorizations, with particular reference to environmental and landscape issues; the possible re-establishment of the regional prison administration office and prison overcrowding in Liguria; the economic and legal treatment of maritime workers; and the management of Ecoenergy’s municipal waste facility in Airola, Benevento, following the August 31, 2026 fire. Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Luigi Sbarra represented the Government.
