What is happening
The decree-law includes urgent measures to ensure the regular start of the 2026/2027 school year, support measures under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) overseen by the Ministry of Education and Merit, promote the integration of foreign students in schools, and address higher education and research. Mattarella also authorized the presentation of the related conversion bill to the Chambers.
