What is happening
The Chamber of Deputies’ Productive Activities Committee will hear representatives of CGIL, CISL, UIL and UGL on the Radici Chimica industrial crisis; representatives of Ferrovie dello Stato, Unioncamere, the Parliamentary Budget Office, Fincantieri, Mediaset, Peri Group and others on Italy’s competitiveness and economic growth; Ericsson Telecomunicazioni representatives on the company’s crisis; and experts and organizations on a proposed law concerning marine or lakeside communities and tourism-related population changes. Separately, the parliamentary committee investigating the COVID-19 emergency will hear General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo on 29 September and ISS senior researcher Loredana Frasca on 30 September. The hearings will be streamed online.
