What is happening
The “Montecitorio a porte aperte” initiative will offer visits to both the Chamber building and the Vicolo Valdina complex. Reservations open on 28 September at 10 a.m. through eventi.camera.it. The Prison Police Corps Band will perform in Piazza Montecitorio from 10 a.m. Works by several artists will be displayed throughout the institutional buildings, including Emilio Isgrò, Velasco Vitali, Pietro Ruffo, Michele Ciacciofera, Ugo La Pietra, Sabrina Mezzaqui, Felice Martinelli, Massimo Listri and Davide Rivalta. The route also includes Jago’s sculpture “Look Down,” permanently installed in Montecitorio’s courtyard since June 2025.
Why is it on the Radar?
The opening expands the areas accessible to visitors and introduces a permanent contemporary art display linked to the 80th anniversary of the Constituent Assembly.
