During a commemoration in Montecitorio, deputies recalled Guccini’s songs, including “La Locomotiva,” and praised his linguistic, poetic and musical contribution. Marco Grimaldi of the Greens and Left described the song as an anthem of revolt and dreams for generations of young libertarians. Giogio Mulè, vice president of the Chamber, highlighted Guccini’s intellectual depth and linguistic versatility. Gianni Cuperlo of the Democratic Party called him an important figure in Italian culture and requested a minute of silence. Beatriz Colombo of Brothers of Italy and Massimiliano Panizzut of the League also paid tribute, noting that his work could be appreciated even by those who did not share all his views.
