What is happening
At 8:30, the Defense Committee will hear Lorenzo Mariani, CEO of Leonardo S.p.A., on the industrial and technological prospects of Italy’s defense sector. At 8:45, the parliamentary committee on addressing disadvantages arising from insularity will hear Vincenzo Franza, vice chairman of the board of Società Navigazione Siciliana, and Patrizia Scarchilli, director general for the sea, maritime transport and inland waterways at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. At 13:30, the Culture Committee will hear Roberto Ricci, president of Invalsi, on the outcome of the Education and Merit Ministry’s trial of artificial intelligence use in lower- and upper-secondary schools. All three hearings will be broadcast via the Chamber’s web TV.
